    Anyone else eat this stuff?

I love it for its taste, and nutritional value but I have discovered it to be a culprit of ridiculous amounts of flatulence and stomach pains that make me feel like i'm pregnant! icon_eek.gif

I live on the Kashi Go Lean (not the Crunch... too much sugar) with skim milk. There is no doubt that it makes you fart a whole lot at first, but once you get used to eating it, not so much.

Its directly because of how much fiber they put in it. However, I found that after eating it in the States versus buying it here in Canada, there is 3 grams more fiber in the US version than the Canadian version. I feel cheated.

And that is really surprising, because I find it doesnt taste like sandpaper at all. Fiber1 cereal might, but there is definitely a sweetness to it (way more with the Crunch) and it is probably one of the... if not the healthiest cereal you can get in mass production. I love it because it doesnt totally taste like ass.

    Fiber. Perzactly.

Try making sure that you measure the stuff for a few days and just eat the regulation serving until your gut gets used to the fiber. You should get 25-30 grams of fiber daily, but you will find that there is so much in Kashi Go Lean Crunch that you can overdo it. Frankly I like it, but it is too sweet for me. I do feel that putting it in a bag and beating the clumps into submission before eating them may be warranted.

Do the almond flax seed bars. I eat two everyday at work to get through the day, and they don't seem to give me gas.

o_O I eat Go Lean. The only thing is that I eat something insanely bitter every once in awhile, but it doesn't react that way with me.

I suffered methane gas burns on my ass from the gas this cereal produced. I'm adding it to my don't eat list that also includes sucralose.icon_redface.gif

It goes good mixed in with my morning bowl of oatmeal, with whole milk.

It's soy protein. And cereal in general is processed. No good.
Cereal with fruit is the worst. Starch and fruit will ferment in your gut and produce toxins. Gah.

Oatmeal is probably the best option. Quinoa flakes ;p
