The bigger offense here is that Americans DO NOT need to be eating cake, not even at their wedding reception! Think of the calories and spare your heart and waistline!

(Completely joking, of course. I love the gays and I love cake!)

"Just because gay marriage is legal in a few states does not mean this is appropriate marketing. As a conservative customer I will not support it," a statement from the group reads, according to MyNorthwest.com

Oh well. They were probably all shopping at Dress Barn or Casual Male XL anyway.

Just for this, I'll be talking about (and shopping at) Macy's more often. We all need to support companies like this...........and we need to be sure our straight friends know about this as well. Conversely, we need to avoid companies who don't appreciate our (not insignificant) dollars.

I love Macy's. They sponsor gay fundraisers in our area, like the AIDS Walk, and they hosted a fashion show for HIV/AIDS at their Fort Lauderdale Galleria store, in which I participated (just staffing the reception table, not modeling!).

Yeah, so I can understand why the Right Wing would look for reasons to attack Macy's. But then Republicans mostly shop at Neiman Marcus, splurging their reduced-taxes windfall, so what's Macy's to them? Or the wanna-bees, who shop at WalMart, deluded into dreaming that they're benefiting from the Republican gravy train, too, when in fact they're the fodder. Nice setup those Republicans have. icon_razz.gif

I shop at Walmart and Target because I can afford them. You really shop at Macy's Mr. Art? Seems to me I remember a post of yours claiming you loved Target and a few of the smaller chain shops to buy your Mumu's and your bermuda shorts. You do hate to shop as we all know from your drunken rants-------- Just another LIE of yours to make Art Deco look good all in the name of appearing GAY----- Sad pathetic LIAR that you really are! icon_lol.gif

edited to add this from the post ART DECO CREATED!!!!!!

Art_Deco saidNot sure what category to use. And comes a little late in the season.

Still, shopping when a little tipsy, whether online or in a store, is something I know all about. Because in defiance of my gay genes, I HATE shopping. And when I go into a store I need to be lubed with a martini first, to ease the pain.

In the old days, some 40 years ago when grand department stores had their own restaurants, I'd start with a gin martini before having lunch. I'd indicate what clothing items interested me, and while I ate, models would come to my table to display garments for me to consider. Those items I approved would be waiting for me in Mens Wear when I finished my meal.

That world is mostly gone now, and I do miss it. In place of elegance I find myself schlepping up and down aisles, pushing a cart to find my own things. And without a martini to make it mildly bearable. No wonder the people referenced in this linked article need to get sloshed first in order to do online shopping. We may be more hi-tech today, but considerably more lo-class. icon_razz.gif

Your are laughable in your confused attempts to find fault with everything I post. What you pasted of mine above simply proves my point, that I dislike shopping. That doesn't mean I never shop, I just avoid it as much as possible.

Apparently too complex a concept for you to comprehend. Well, spend a few days thinking on it, you might eventually understand.

You love Macy's because they support gays but you don't support Macy's because you hate shopping? Now explain that one to us--- why should Macys support anything Art Deco stands for if he won't shop there? You better start buying a few of your mumu's and bermuda shorts there if they are going to support you!icon_lol.gif Doesn't that mean you are "two faced"?

Oh ye of little brain, try this step by step:

    - I don't like to shop, but I must shop at times. I don't believe Santa will bring me everything I need once a year.
    - When I do shop, which is not often, Macy's is one of the places I go. Therefore I do support them.

Now repeat the above several times, and get back to me if you still have any questions.

At least it is not of DRUNKEN brain-- I do not have time to go digging up the post where you posted you shopped at Target and a few other shops for your mumus and bermuda shorts--- I don't remember Macy's as being one of them----It is only convenient for you to mention it now in a thread where you try to make yourself look good because you keep standing in front of that mirror and nothing CHANGES!! sorry--- Will look for that post another time as I have to get to bed. I'm not on disability nor do I have a sugar daddy to allow me to be on the internet 24/7-------- I have to be up at 0430a----so Deco darling--have a few more cocktails and see if they help with that image! Cheers

LMAO!!! If you can find a mumu at Target do post pics. And down here in south Florida we wear cargo shorts; I haven't heard the term Bermuda shorts in over 20 years, and then only in an historical context.

I've mentioned Macy's any number of times, including that HIV/AIDS fashion show fundraiser in which I participated. And how impressed I was by their top management giving us their total support, and being there in person.

Plus I mentioned my experiences with the Miami AIDS walk, where Macy's was a sponsor. The fact that you don't remember any of that being posted here is not my problem. You either have a poor memory, or a selective one. Observing how you behave here, I would be inclined to think it's the latter.

BTW, my husband would be too flattered (and laugh too hard) for me to tell him he's my sugar daddy. Where you come up with these fantasies is a wonder. But they do make your credibility here zero.

You're as much to blame as Dean here. You should have stopped feeding that troll like, oh, say, a year ago.

Ah, hun, when you stop feeding trolls yourself, then so will I. Maybe if you've had as many of your own threads hijacked & trashed by that character as I have, your attitude might be different.

Well it was likely a gay graphic designer, photographer or art director who created this shot. It's so small and innocuous, who gives a crap? Don't people have better shit to do with their time like post messages on gay jock sites?
