Couple in Landmark California Case Getting Divorced

"Robin Tyler has confirmed that she and Diane Olson, the first couple to legally marry in Los Angeles County, where they sued for the right, are now getting divorced."

"When they were married, they'd been together for 15 years and known each other for 35."

This should prove gay couples are just like everyone else.

I wonder why they are divorcing. Perhaps they are doing it for financial reasons. They would be of age where they might be needing to live in assisted living communities.

Since Medicare doesn't pay for nursing homes, increasingly, older couple divorce so that they can qualify for the Medicaid program that does pay for nursing homes.

portamis saidObviously the work of God to right the wrong of gay marriage. Now lets hope he stops all those evil sinners who wear clothes of mixed fabrics are burnt.

"Neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woolen come upon thee." -- Leviticus 19:19

Well at least Moses (Supposedly Lev's author) Had some FASHION SENSE way back in the day! He was like the original Project Run Way! And gurrrrl, he parted the seas to make one fierce runway!

With same-sex marriage comes same-sex divorce. It happens. Divorce lawyers need to make a living too!

Now when is reality TV going to pick up on gay divorce courts. I'm sure they will be down right more viscous and dirty than many a straight could ever muster.

Thank god my life will never be afflicted with device, because I have all the benefits without the wedding; thus no divorce. But then I am not straight either, thus do not care about being seen as diffrent.

Reminds me of a lesbian couple a few years ago, who was to fight tooth and nail for the right to have a child. They no sooner got their way and wish, to only separate soon after. Saddly those two come off as being two very selfish women

I think Mexico City has the right idea with their Temporary Marriage Licenses (not sure if it ever passed, but I know they were considering them).
