He said his focus is not on the rich and it's not on the very poor, it's on the middle class.

So according to your silly logic, omg, mitt hates rich people too!

Im afraid for Mitt. Conservatives must be afraid he might make that one misstatement that ends it all. He's a walking time bomb.

You just like engaging in class warfare. Envious much? Besides, people are corporations. Why would anyone hate a successful corporation?

He's no different than any other politician -- they make misstatements that get taken out of contact -- it's goes with the territory. The only thing that will really matter come November is where the economy and world is at the time, who performed best in the debates, the V.P. choice, and who presents their case best to the country. One thing is for sure, it will be a nail-biter and definitely not a cake-walk for Obama to get re-elected. I do think there is a good chance he WILL be re-elected, but it is by no means a sure-thing.

Todd, I think you are quite, erm... optimistic about Mitt's chances vs. Obama.

I think Obama will be re-elected by a comfortable margin of at least 50 electoral votes.

Mainly because there is little difference between the two aside from how they want to redistribute wealth.

Best hope we have is Dr. Ron Paul.

Q: Which way will he flop?

A: Any way the polls tell him.

Trust me, if Ron Paul could get the nomination...OR if he ran as an independent...I might just vote for him cuz I like him more and more every day. That said, it just ain't going to happen. He's not going to get the nomination, and he likely wouldn't guarantee Obama a win by running as an Independent. I also don't agree that there is "little difference between" Obama and Romney. I think that difference will become much more clear once the nomination is secured and the general debates take place.

Care to make a little harmless wager on that, Todd?

Now here I am at work.. the Hereford House is just a few steps away for lunch and that thought makes me want to throw up.

I think he'll be history soon enough, however....

Well what Mitt had to say, was left open to ones own interpretation. So the haters are going to see it as he does not give a rats arse about the poor, and the none haters as how it was meant. The poor have a safety net,but middle America who is truly hurting does not; they need his attention too.

Go Mitt look how they run,at the thought of the first Latter Day Saint in the White House; acceptance they demand, yet how quick they are to persecute too.

LOL! No way. This election is sure to be a nail-biter. It could go either way, so not a good sure bet one way or the other.

Unless you're Jewish or an icky brown person or you know anything at all about economics.

JP, there you go again making haters out of people when they don't hate. You remember the Israeli advisor I quoted from that said Ron Paul was not Anti semitic, or Anti Israel? Where do you get that Ron Paul Doesn't like black folks? he just doesn't like the Federal Government getting its nose in local and state issues.
