What a very nice end of the week for President Obama!

    From Politico:

The Dow Jones industrial average closed Friday at its highest level since before the 2008 financial crisis. The jump followed news that the economy added 243,000 jobs in January, cutting the unemployment rate to its lowest level in nearly three years - to 8.3 percent from 8.5 percent.

Considering how much money has been printed since 2008, this is pretty much meaningless. In terms of P/E, gold, or even money supply adjusted dollars, main indices have been in a bear market over the last 10 years and will continue for the next few years at the very least.

The market was so wonderfully volatile the past year that we will not see another opportunity like this in years.

On the other hand, I see nothing to stanch the volatility.

Yeah, Obama and his wealthy 1% Wall Street banker cronies. Great! icon_rolleyes.gif

I"m sure riddler will be by any second to explain to you how middle class retirement funds are invested in the market and how this is a boon to all Americans. Any second now...
