What about just simple 'defined proportionate muscle'?

I have found that over the years there are a lot of guys who find one aspect (often very specific) to be the major point of attraction ot them. (I'm NOT including personality traits, only the physical)
Hair (color, length, curl, cut, hairline, or lack of it)
    Height ('nuf said)
body part (ears, feet, apollo's belt, small of the back)
Skin (tone, color, tan or not, freckeled or not, hirsute, smooth or something in the middle)
    (Race)
Religion (or the lack of it.)
Ethnicity/culture (geographic location or famnily heritage)

I find the major thing for me is defined, proportional muscle. All of the above are nice and many on my list have some or many of the above attributes, but to me, the true purly visual attraction is defined, proportional muscle. There's some variety but that ireally just it. Does anyone else really feel this way without referencing one of the above as a deal breaker if not met (physically)

    Here's my sample list below:
If you dont know the names, Google them.

    Ketut Arnawa
    Adam Dexter
    Denis Quaid
    Rain (Ketut Arnawa)
    Gordon Grant
    Miles O'Keefe
    Yuri Van Gelder
    Jason Statham
    Peter Lee
    Jin Xiankui
    Reggie Bush
    Flex Gamble
    Ryan Daharsh
    Gareth Thomas
    Harry Shum
    Joe Mangiella
    Jason Behr
    Mecad Brooks
    Jason Momoa
    Ray Dragon
    Ryan Reynold
    Steven Lang
    Luke Guldan
    Bob Bishop
    Robert Collins
    Serge Nubret

    Addendum:

It occurred to me that the basic premise here presupposes the idea that looks are paramount. While I stated that the point of physical attraction was in lieu of other characteristics such as personality, intellect, sense of humor (both in making jokes as well as 'getting' them) and culture, I by no means intended to further the idea that looks are or even should have the weight placed on them by the gay community.

Also, the cultural media we are presented with certainly both informs, and influences us, we need to see beyond that.

All these additional caveats notwithstanding, I'm still interested in considered responses beyond the minimal 35+ response-less views this post has received.

Then again, maybe I'm asking men to look a little too deeply at the mirror.

    OK, I'll bite.

Bill and I found each other very attractive. He was extremely skinny having been through a nervous breakdown at the end of a 12 year abusive relationship. I, on the other hand, was in flabby shape from giving up a lot of exercise and eating crappy food due to low wages, a work schedule that sported ten different shifts in a week (10, because of split shifts which was like working at two jobs in one day.), and spending spare time in volunteer work.

The attraction between us was based on no one thing but rather an interesting combination of many.

lol, soon Bill was packing on weight and I was getting very fit from all the things we enjoyed doing together. Kayaking/camping in the Gulf Islands for periods of time, working on Mom and Dad's farm etc.

    warmly,

    -Doug

PS, you know, I don't think my post has been any help at all, lol!

Ah, but you have. You always add to my thought's and ideas (whether filling in a deficit or add a perspective.)

In virtually every relationship I've had (i.e. exceeding 4 dates) the man in question was never the hottest guy in the room in the context of purely physical characteristics, and sometimes may have been close to the least.

I'm just curious about discretely physical attraction.

That wouldn't count since it would've fallen under my category of:
    [single] body part.
