So I went to Walmart to buy a game and when I got home and opened it there was no Disk. Just the manual. So I took it back and they exchanged it for another one that did have the game in it.

At first I was made but then came to the conclusion that some where in the production line someone made a mistake or they don't even have people to check the cases before they seal them up.

I'm just glad I got the game in the end lol. But will probably start opening the game after I buy it, inside the store.in.case people don't believe me.

A friend of mine in California, a plumber, was popular with Targets and WalMart in the area. Frequently, the disc would get stolen and the packaging would be stuffed into a toilet (they never think to put it in the tank, trust me.).

Things have slowed down a bit now that there are rental systems in place.

Another friend has started complaining about a trend in PC games where all you get is a pretty box and a keycode. He has a slow DSL connection and it took him a while to download the whole thing.

On the other hand, I spent $13,000 on a cad program (Cadence Allegro) two years ago. All I got was a USB dongle with my invoice.icon_rolleyes.gif
