muchmorethanmuscle saidSedative, are you American by birth?
Heck no. LOL Born and raised here in the Philippines, in a valley surrounded by mountains and some jungles in a godforsaken island! Somebody fix my spaceship!
czarodziejso lets discuss the history and discovery channels and how all one sees on them any more are redneck he-man shows? its tougher in alaska? the logging show? the alaskan king crab fishing show (that is exactly the same thing in every episode, but my parents are addicted)?
Yeah, noticed that too. Not that I don't like American Chopper or Mythbusters, but I do miss the nature shows, the archeological shows, the paleontological shows. As it is, I get my fix on that from National Geographic (or at least used to, LOL, back when one company did supply cable TV here, then bankrupted itself and left us to rot in local TV, ugh). Though NGC does get a bit pedantic sometimes and Discovery/History is a bit more sensationalist.
Oh well, I prefer the Nat. Geographic magazines anyway. hehe
