Hey guys, I just started on a diet after being heavy for the past two years. I have for the past week ate healthy low calorie and low fat foods, smaller portions and ate slower along with walking around 60 minutes a day - now I new to this whole workout stuff - I used to be in good shape and modeled and that is my goal now but what can I do to have more success ? I am 5'10 and weigh 197 now and my goal is to be 165-170 by new years eve and slightly toned, is this possible and what must I do ?

Stick with your present diet and go to the training portion on this website and begin a 3-4 day workout regimen
if you're really new to working out start out with the beginner work outs

    Good Luck to ya! icon_wink.gif

Get a personal trainer if you can afford it.

I resisted for so long, thinking that it was too much of an extravagance, but I am so glad that I finally got over that. I have made so much progress since I got a trainer, which has caused me to be even more motivated to continue.

If you go it alone, the advice on this site is great, but a trainer is an investment in yourself.
