Haha, yeah. It's like a better, adult's version of Glee.

Loved Katharine McPhee, and didn't know Megan Hilty was going to be in it!!! (played Glinda in Wicked, has some wicked awesome chops)

Also, Alex Wong from SYTYCD was dancing too, and that makes me happy.

A little disappointed, but I'm gonna follow it for a while and hope it doesn't turn into Glee.

I thought it was great, better than the peliminary hype. I'm worried that it's too smart for broadcast TV.

I happened to catch it just by chance. Wasn't too impressed. Too cliche.

And does Debra Messing play any other roles besides "Powerful, modern woman living in New York City"???

I didn't catch enough of it to tell if I liked it or not, but the songs were good.

Katherine McPhee's voice has left me underwhelmed since American Idol, but I'll give the show a chance. It's kind of interesting to see how a Broadway show might come together though. It also makes me miss being in NY.

I've been waiting for it ...
I like it the musical portions were great but they're going to have to watch that they take themselves WAY too seriously

I was really disappointed after all the hype.

I thought that the music sequences were kinda cringe worthy and poorly done.

Seems like it's trying to be a more sophisticated/adult version of Glee but it isn't clicking with me.

I loved Angelica Houston's character though so I'm gonna give it another chance with the next ep.

You know, I was bored and watched the first episode again on DVR, and I actually liked it alot more the 2nd time around. The last song, "Let me be your star" is beautiful, and sung with such sweetness and desparation. I actually downloaded in iTunes.

I'd love to see Katharine McPhee become a huge star. I really think she's talented and I love her voice.

But, the show was only ok. The plot and characters were a bit predictable and the sequences were a bit of a mess.

I will say, though, that the previews for the remaining part of the season look promising.

I enjoyed "The 20th Century Fox Mambo" this week. Ellenore and Spencer Liff dancing were the icing on the cake for me, of course.

I am finding Ivy to be especially grating with her flying monkeys (gay director up her ass and her deceitful gay bff) but at least this show is keeping me interested icon_smile.gif

Smash is having a very touching moment right now--sorry, tonight. If you didn't catch tonight's episode, catch it on Hulu tomorrow.
