Well this should make Jezuz war monger funi's very happy.

I guess its Santorums turn to take the lead. The Repubs just cannot seem to pick one candidate that they like.

I'm Placing confidence in the voters that there's no damn way that the public would put such as Sandorum or Gingrich in the Whitehouse.

    Yup.

What we're seeing tonight is not Santorum's strength.
What we're seeing is yet more evidence of Mitt Romneycare's WEAKNESS.

It's clear that he has a problem winning the votes of the folks in the Midwest.

    Which is a BIG problem.

You cannot get elected president without winning in the Midwest.

The Heartland just doesn't like Mitt Romneycare!

I will be shocked if Romney loses Colorado. It is definitely Romney country. At least it use to be. Good night for Santorum. Let's hope it is short-lived.

Now we need Gingrich and Paul to come up from behind and take Santorum and Romney. Keep the race nice and tight going into the convention.
Division. Vitriol. Four-way blood lust. We need all the closets opened up and all the skeletons laid bare in the public square.

But whomever has the Santorum meth/sex taking-a-traffic-cone-up-his-arse tape, or the photos of Mitt banging one or more of his sons needs to hold those for October.

Definitely a shocker. Not necessarily a game-changer. Have to wait and see how Santorum uses this momentum (if he even can) to propel him forward. Romney is still the only real "constant" in the race -- clearly STILL the front-runner -- but this certainly makes things interesting and by no means a done deal for Romney. Ugh! It's going to be a l-o-n-g GOP primary season.

I don't think we'll be so lucky as to have anyone who hates himself that much so as do the sexay with the Santorum. Meth or no meth.

    And Mitt-cest...?

Yeeeek that's enough even to give me the dry heaves.

As for Ron Paul, he has very little chance of catching any one state's primary outright.

His strat is to rack up as many delegates as he can in the non-winner-take-all states and walk them into the convention and have a little say-so into things, with the leverage of totally ass-fucking the GOP if they don't cooperate by running as an independent/third party spoiler vote, thereby Nadering a guaranteed win to Obama.

I think any nominee other than Romney will pretty much guarantee a win for Obama. Not that I think even Romney can beat him, but I do think he would have the best chance overall.

Honestly I have never seen such a topsy turvy presidential primary season..Just about by the week. I think the only time that comes close is Hart-Mondale in 1984?

    It's morning in America Folks

Remember those words from the Gip?
Yeah don't worry I am definitely not here to praise Caesar but to bury him

I hear the words shocked and disappointed that Santorum is surging and beating a so called moderate handily but this is the republican party as it is
With Ronnie you sold yourself to the devil with the religious nutcases
Then you hooked your bandwagon onto the NeoCon train that got us into Iraq
and the Bush economic model that got ... well ...you know where

and finally when a Blackman enters the WhiteHouse we get the bigots of the teaparty

.................. and NOW you're surprised that a certifiable nutcase like Santorum is getting votes from your party?

Thank you republicans ... for giving us Rick Santorum ... he's yours
I hope he goes down easy icon_wink.gif

Next up after the Feb. 28th contests in AZ and Michigan are Super Tuesday elections in Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia. Interesting, Romney favored in Mass & VT I assume, but the rest could be a battle. Gingrich or Santorum in the southern contests? And who in Alaska, Idaho and ND? For all the blather about caucuses turning on the superior organization and finances of the Romney Express, we didnt see that last night! Hell, he came in 3rd in Minn. a state he won with 41% in 2008 only getting 17% this time!! This is getting good!!

Wow this is just disgusting news. It's amazing how many people I talk to who are rooting for santorum (which aren't too many) don't even understand many of his extremist views. When you tell them they are like "huh? really? that can't be". Or they have some notion that he's interested in smaller government. It's like PLEASE. I think for a lot of them it's just over the fact that Romney is mormon.

My god if he's the candidate I will be painfully forced to either vote for Obama (just to make a statement) or not at all, most likely the former.

OK lets dispense with the catfish photos... we really don't need that shit on here to make a point and it just causes additional friction.

Glad Rick won and shook up the race. About the time Romney's forces think they have a wrap..... it's unwrapped... yeah.

Umm, of course not. No gay person who considers themselves conservative wants anything to do with Santorum, unless they are some kind of self-hater.

Mock, WAY too early to worry. Only 8 states have voted this time around, and since it's sort of a splattering of Northeast, Southeast, West, and Midwest states, it's not really surprising that it's kind of been all over the map up until now. The only real constant in the race has been Mitt Romney -- and he is STILL clearly the front-runner. I suspect that Rick Santorum's day in the sun will be short-lived as things move to Maine on Saturday where Romney should win, then Arizona and Michigan. After that, Super Tuesday is up for grabs and could go all kinds of ways. The thing I am most worried about is that Gingrich will drop out and throw his weight behind Santorum just to spite Romney. If that happens, we could be in for a nail-biter. Should Santorum win the nomination, I'm with you, I will be voting for Obama.
