I see so many bodybuilders or even just runners and swimmers who are perfectly hairless. I get the worst razorburn if I shave, and irritation if I nair. I have even tried that alcoholly pre-shave treatment that is supposed to prevent bumps, and it doesn't work on me. I don't exactly have a bodybuilder's body, but I've got some muscles I've worked hard on, and would like them a little smoother (as would my boyfriend). I have resorted to just using a trimmer with the shortest guard for now, but what can I use that won't irritate my skin?! Anything? I figure you bodybuilders will know more about this than anyone. Thanks!

I have tried ALOT of hair removal products, and thanks to davy wavy, I have found Magic Shave.

    http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=safari&rls=en&q=magic+shave&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=6816402556346833353&sa=X&ei=neu0T-PvKsSPsAL73eCPAQ&ved=0CLUBEPICMAE#ps-sellers

This is by far the BEST hair removal creme I have ever used. It is marketed towards guys of color for their beards and head, and even though it says for face only, it works SO WELL for my arms/chest/stomach. The directions do say to trim your hair to 1/8" or less before use, also I do note that it took 2 applications (over 2 days) to really get rid of all the hair around my stomach/navel area, but it leaves your skin soft (thanks to the shea butter) and hairless.

You can buy it at target or walgreens for under $3.

IMO, so much better then hair for men or using a razor.

I've found that aftershave.... after waxing or shaving tends to tighten your skin and close the pores and prevents the bumps from forming, Be careful about exfoliant type creams they tend to feel like a burn to my skin. I haven't tried them all though.

get the nair lotion hair remover. like 7 dollars at a grocery store. just put it on the area where you want the hair gone and leave it on for like 10 min or less then just wipe the hair off. easy. icon_wink.gif
