A subscription poster said if the economy is the primary issue on voters minds, why is Santorum always thinking about gay men? Lol

Here's a HuffPo article on the event, along with video:

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/08/rick-santorum-church_n_1263859.html?ref=politics

I'm glad Santorum was able to score 3 recent victories. Not that I agree with him, of course, but it highlights Romney's weakness. Romney lost a state to Santorum that he had won in the 2008 primary.

    Anything-but-Romney is still strong.

Instead of traveling the country giving weepy speeches about his terminally-ill daugher, what if he stayed home and actually took care of her? Couldn't his futile political/self-promotional tour wait until next time? (Especially since he doesn't have the least hope of winning.)

Fifty years ago evangelicals wouldn't have had anything to do with a Catholic like Rick Santorum. Even now a number of evangelical groups think poorly of Catholicism. The Wisconsin Synod of Lutheranism to which Michelle Bachmann belongs believes for example that the Pope is the Anti-Christ.

I am not religious and having grown up a Catholic, I detest it for the evil it truly is. To live by the moral constructs of a people who herded sheep and goats in a semi-arid patch of the Levant over 2000 years ago and whose self-declared and fully delusional prophets who claimed to speak on behalf of a rather angry, and yet non-existent, god is hardly the morality the modern West should adhere to.

Rick Santorum honestly believes what he believes but that doesn't make him any less a bigot nor any less delusional. He may prolong the GOP race but in the end his formal career in politics as an elected official is over. Unfortunately, he is likely to continue to articulate the vilest expressions of outright hate and bigotry hiding behind his cloak of religion in the public sphere for many years to come.

Rick Santorum told a group of Dallas-area pastors Wednesday that he saw no boundary between faith and public life and that he "could not and would not leave my faith at the door" as he sought the presidency.

I hope frothy mixture has lost the vote of ANYone with a brain.
He hasnt a ice cubes chance in a blast furnace and is sealing his fate with lag bolts.

HA! You Stop!!! icon_lol.gif I seriously doubt he will be the GOP nominee. The voters in Pennsylvania voted him OUT of office for a reason -- and I suspect that's where he will remain. However, should he be the nominee, I will absolutely vote for ANYONE BUT him.
