The episode is a it of a cliche, but it raises some important questions and issues, such as all men are bisexual, some fancy women more than men, and some fancy men more than women, the way a bisexual man is looked in a macho society, jealousy between male lovers, the repercussion's on the husband / father's family and the situation of the wife and her dealing with a male competition.
I found it hit some deep notes and it resonated with a scene from Brokeback Mountain where Enis tells Jack that "he made him this way".
Are there movies / TV episodes you watched that deal with the issue of coming out while married?
The main actors are also easy on the eyes, so that's a plus. Here are the links.
