    ...who when we were growing up was the first person to have to go to court to take another boy to the prom. Consequently this became a HUGE issue. Thousands of newspapers articles later, a feature in People Magazine, 2 appearances on the Phil Donahue show.....well he won his court case and went to the prom w/my first boyfriend.
    We grew up in small towns in Rhode Island. It was a huge deal. I'd like to thank my friend Aaron Fricke for doing what he did. We've been best friends for so many years it feels like eons ago it all happened. Either way it was still a landmark in gay history and worth a mention I think. Here's an audio about it! Enjoy!
