I've been trying to download Gareth Emery's album, "Northern Lights."

I keep getting this when trying to BUY IT LEGALLY:
"We’re sorry. This album is unavailable for download in your country (United States) at this time."

If the music companies are so worried about piracy, why the fuck don't they allow us to download it legally?

    *pirates entire album*

    That is all.

Music piracy is refusing to play for music that isn't that good anyway, bro.

I run into that on Beatport. Frustrating. And, its usually the european-based artists.

I moved on from Mr. Gareth (not the best match) but I'm in his debt for introducing me to "BT" Brian Transeneau and Sean Matiska. Ed: Mitiska (sorry)

American artists who don't pull that crap.

    Distribution rights.

That's because you're in the same country as the distributor of those artists (American artists > American distributor > you aka American customer).

Its what the suits in the music industry call you not paying exhorbant prices to line their obsolete wallets while the actual talent gets pennies on the dollar.
