So because someone declared today as the day of love, if you're alone, you're sad?

I could understand if someone broke up with you today or recently, but I'd imagine the anniversary of the date you met your soulmate would be more important than February 14th.

It could be tomorrow for all you know, you might never experience it and leave this earth alone...

but distract yourself with something you love, instead of wishing you were loved. Would moping around be worth it if you died tomorrow?

Hope this puts things into perspective for someone... icon_smile.gif

I liked this card that said "Don't be sad that nobody loves you on Valentines. Remember that nobody loves you the other 364 days of the year either."

Better to be alone than to deal with passive-aggressive men in their 40s that date you for 4 months straight with a smiley face...then flip out on their birthday (or Valentines) about all the stuff they wanted but could never ask or wish for.

    Give me peace.

Well at least for me I think it's more like I generally have an underlying dissatisfaction with being single and having never had a relationship, so although this doesn't bother me 24/7 on valentine's day It's just a bit more in your face what your missing out on, and I think that's why it compels myself and others to feel bad.
