I want to thank everyone for helping me the other day, but I figured out what was bothering me. (hahaha)

This doesn't mean all of your help was wasted, since I am now even more confident in my sexuality than I ever was, but you should read on:

I have always been the type of person that over thinks things, and like I said I've moved on from college to college and tried to figure out what I want out of life so when I started having issues with my sexual identity I figured it was just some other thing that I was going through.

It turns out it wasn't me! I was on omeprazole (an acid blocker) for acid reflux, and some side effects of the drug are depression, confusion, and "brain fog." The last one I find eerie because I literally kept saying for the past few weeks to my family and friends that for some reason I felt like I was in some sort of fog, and I didn't know who I was/what I was doing anymore. It dawned on me to look up side effects of this drug because I realized I started feeling this way shortly after I started taking this medication.

I've been off the junk for the past two days and I feel a billion times better. I'm finally my old self again! I still want to thank everyone for their help, because even though the self doubt was manufactured, fighting it has made me feel a lot more confident about who I am.

    So thanks!

Try Ranitidine for your Gastric Reflux, should sort you right out if you're not tolerating omeprazole. You're definately in the minority though, omeprazole is a generally very well tolerated medication. Bizzare!

Drugs can have strange effects. I rarely read all the side effects listed on the brochure I get with each prescription. Some of the effects however are not listed even there.
