I need a gym partner. How do I get one? The last one I had I got by shear luck. Soon I'll be moving to a brand new city where I won't know anyone and I'd like to have a gym partner. Whats the best way to get one?

As unsavory as it sounds, Craigs List - why not - just found a partner there and we are kicking serious ass. We've gone from benching 295 to 335 in less than two months

I agree on CL - just have to be very specific about your training goals in order to get the best possible results. Might also be worth checking with your new gym when you settle in and see if they have some sort of match program or a bulletin board that you can post on.

Has anyone found any luck with gym partners on this site? I would imagine that would be a good/rational use of the site...
...if not, why are we here?

A good trainer is required for any excercise. You can consult with any Gyn close to your area.

Yes, I totally agree with you meelanse. A good trainer is required for good physic. I really need a good trainer to suggest by neighbour to be an escort.

When you select your new gym, make "gym partnerships" a question as you search for a gym. Do they encourage or have a way to advertise those who are looking for a work out partner?

I'd at least bring it up and see what they say.
