As much as many want to lay the blame of Prop8 passing on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; overlooking it was passed in a referendum held by the voters of CA; the people of CA said no to the proposition of gay marriage. Thus the will of the majority of people must be upheld in a democracy; someone had to lose, and if your happiness relies on beholding some piece of paper, search and dig deeper; try a little harder.

Can you imagine the outcry, if prop8 did not pass, and the people fighting to have it passed kept up their vigilance and fight to preserve the Religious hetrosexual institution of marriage. Those victors would be screaming leave it be, the will of the people have spoken, hear them; let it be.

But since they lost they do not want to hear the will of the people of CA.

I'm so proude and content my happiness does not count on some piece of paper. Not beholding such a piece of paper, has not prevented one from being in a 20+ year relationship, thus being loved and loving another back. This said piece of paper will not help pay the mortgage, or make my relationship any more loving or validated; we are content with the Status Quo; our happiness is not in the hands of others, we hold and own that ourselves, our happiness is not in the hands of voters or governmenticon_razz.gif

But then my sexuality does not define one as a whole either. I was also born a male, and men are in need of equality, not just gay and bi men; hetrosexual men too. family courts need an overhauled for one, to make it more equal to men, and if women want to also keep crying it's my body thus my decision to keep the child or not, thus hold a man to ransom, the family law courts need to be overhauled, as they are biased in favour of women, if it's their body, then they need to behold all responsibilities of that said child.

So men need liberation not just bi and gay ones. because while men helped to liberate women, we failed to liberate ourselves.

    Are you kidding me?

So if the people vote to outlaw African American's from being in the United States, the government cant step in and say "Wait wait wait, this is simply the majority pushing around the minority, and is not the way of freedom, we cant have this?"

Thank the fucking lord your fat tub of lard is stuck in Australia and not here.
