I'm amused by all the niche dating sites advertising on Real Jock. What dating site for a specific hobby, lifestyle, physical characteristic, belief system etc. would inspire you to create another profile other than RJ?
Chemist saidI don't know if you got a chance to read that book review I sent you, but something along those lines (androphile). Basically a "RealJock" type of website, but substitute "homo" for every instance of the word "gay."
To your point (and perhaps it was tongue in cheek), we don't need to dilute ourselves any more than we already are. We don't need to alienate any more people than we already do.
I'm sure you know how many really hot, butch, masculine guys reject "gay" because in many people's opinion, sexual orientation is a very small fraction of the total man, and it's a shame to define oneself with such a host of baggage (politics, agenda, hairstyle, clothes, attitude, etc.) as is associated with the term "gay."
There are plenty of sites already out there that cater to "gay."
Coach_MikeI understand your point but I don't think there's anything wrong with looking for companionship on a site that caters to like minded people. If your favorite activity is tennis, signing up for a tennis players' dating site would give you a greater chance of meeting someone that would at least share an interest in doing something you enjoy doing. I'd sign up for a site for hunters who could eat three meals a day at Chick-fil-a.
