He's Belgium-Australian and lives in Australia. His voice reminds me of Sting.

Here's some of my favorites of his....hope you guys enjoy!!

whoa this is so weird.....my friend played me "Somebody That I Used to Know" today. first time hearing this guy's beautiful voice. it kinda reminds me of Neal Schon from Journey how he hits those high notes. so great. awesome song. Kimbra's great too. listened to it like 5 times today lol

That's weird.....cuz the first time I heard Somebody That I Used To Know, I immediately thought of Journey on his high notes as well!! Glad you heard it in there as well. Thanks for posting!

Only found out about him last week and have had Someobody I use to know on repeat ever since! Downloaded the whole album but still can't get past this song ( and bc i cant help but think im listening to Sting) The video is brilliant too and there's alot of good remixes that are just trippy.

I love his music, but they recently started playing it on the radio, which is good for Gotye, but bad for me, they're going to abuse his song icon_sad.gif

I bought his full album based on how amazing "Somebody That I Used to Know" is... and it's the only track I like!

Wasn't expecting all the horns. I hate horns.

let's not forget Kimbra guys! Another talent from New Zealand also living in Melbourne. Both Gotye and Kimbra had multiple songs in the Triple J hottest 100 of 2011.

His album "Making Mirrors" has been on constant replay on my Ipod for the last month.

My favourite song of his is "Hearts a Mess" though.

I'm sorry, GOTYE is already taken by "GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION". He will have to try another name. icon_cool.gif

this is so funny because just today one of my coworkers asked me if I had heard of them.

they were big on the alt-rock stations here in boston last year and already went from being playing constantly on the radio to not being played at all.

I love "Somebody That I Used To Know." I bought it a few weeks ago and have been playing it constantly. I haven't heard anything else of his yet.
