I myself today walked along a shopping strip and put a coin in each parking meter that had expired. Sure it only cost me $8 AU today, but it was the thought, not the cost.

So what did you do today?

After the recycling guys had been to empty the bins.

I went round the estate I live on and tided everyone's bins away and emptied the rubbish the recycle guys won't take into the communal non-recycled stuff bins.

I hate the estate looking a mess and like to do my bit.

    Loz

....in retrospect though, this might not be random, so I will try to do something more off the cuff later.

You know the last time many years ago I lived inner city in South Yarra, in an apartment block, someone? did much the same, or other wise it would of been a mess. I can tell you, I wished I knew who did it so I could of thanked them, as their deed did not go unnoticed.

I don't leave the apartment for less than $10,000 a day. I'll send them an e-greeting.

Well, I called the dog I'm dogsitting to me so that she wouldn't block an elderly gentleman's way on the sidewalk.

And a friend is going through a tough time relationship-wise at the moment, so I talked her down from the ledge, so to speak. I'll count those as mine for today.

Oh he's an in the closet homophobe, so it's okay.

But when you're THAT fat, you don't wear THOSE shorts.

I vote instead that people try a Random Act of Bitch. It seems counter intuitive, but which makes a more awesome story that you tell over and over? That someone fed your meter for no reason or that some enraged lunatic sailed out through a red light into an intersection with middle fingers flying out his window as he screamed racist profanity?

Awesome stories like that make people happy. icon_biggrin.gif

    I thought that was you!!

You're sexy even when you're yelling, BTW.

Edit: I pay for the parking fee of the person behind me at least once a week. It's not that much and I hope they start their day off better. It improves my mood anyway. icon_cool.gif

Rush hour traffic. This one old guy couldn't get into my lane because nobody was giving him a chance. I stopped to let him in while some jerk was hooting at me from behind.

In many ways thats becoming the world we live in, as the world is becoming so me, me, me why would you do that. You know and that all part of the challenge.

Well my opportunity come to me unexpected today. It's already Saturday morning down here in oz and we are in for an almost 40C summers day. So I have already been to the supermarket to get supplies to cook our brunch before it warms up to much.

Well there was this old bugger at the check out who found out the meager supplies he had gotten himself, added up to more than he had to spend, and he started to take things away to reduce the price, no luxuries at all. I was not going to stand there and watch this come to pass so I paid the difference. I almost had to pick the old bugger off the floor. Yes I got home feeling good, and you know what my husband is still in bed sleeping, and he may never ever know about that.

You know it's a rare thing I ever get angry, and when I do I keep it to myself. I hate being late and hate it even more when others make me late, thus I understand your frustration, as well how you can do what you have to do, and too say nothing. But for me it's also the silance that can say a lot too.

i gave a guy a compliment on how on his cam in the adult room he was clearly singing his heart out, and he had such joy and enthusiasm for his singing (although he declined to turn on the audio!!!) that it was a joy to watch. and i told him so. that's all. be warned, if there is something i see on YOUR profile that i find creative, unique, or just plain FUN, i'll be sending you a little compliment too..... it's what i do.
