Say what you want about her but one thing she's good at -if not BJs after seeing One Night in Paris- is making good pop music. This is one of her new songs and she's working on a new album with Afrojack.

    NEW Platinum Blonde

Oldie but a goodie- Turn U On

    Thoughts?

I can't believe I'm gonna say this but..........that song is way too gay, even for me.

Makes the stuff Miley Cyrus puts out sound like Mozart !

I'm gonna confess, I do like one Paris Hilton song, even though it's just a rip off of Red Red Wine I still liked it back in the day , THE SHAME icon_sad.gif

Sounds like everything else out there now in the genre. Not terrible, but hardly memorable. Generic beats and weak, listless vocals. Disposable, meaningless music. Audio wallpaper. Personally, I expect more from music. I like artists who have something to say. Heck, I love artists, real artists! And Paris is a product. Boring.

With Afrojack involved thought it would be better but sounds like something Britney Spears rejected. From her first album though Nothing in the World and stars are blind we're great songs so hope she produces at least one good song from this album.

I have always believed that everyone - EVERYONE - has some kind of gift...some sort of special talent that allows them to shine in their own way and not be over-shadowed by the rest of the world. I have always believed that it is THAT special spark that makes each and every one of us something worth while and worthy of respect.

    Until now...

It's like that Lords of Acid Song 'The Most Wonderful Girl" -- just without the mind-bending production and cutting social satire.

So, yes, it's an empty trifle, just like her.

Does she even bother TRYING to say anything?!??!

At this point she just looks like a disillusioned aerobics instructer / call-girl who never misses a Roberto Cavalli sample sale.

The "music" is as trite as possible while still qualifying as music and her "lyrics" are just more cliche one-liners about red carpets, paparazi and "fabulosity." At this point, most of the aging, bankrupt hags from the Real Housewives franchise have released similar product.

Who even buys into her "image"?!??!?! Mostly it is fat mall chix who dream of what it would be like to get out of the mall and delusional Gay boys who believe that by ejaculating false bravado and thin attitude no one will notice their bad skin and severe insecurity.

At least Traci Lords - with all of her controversy and early career choices - actually has an interest in saying something and genuinely tries to put something worthwhile out into the world. Her genre may not be the most significant but at least it has merit.
