Happened rarely but experienced it at different places,

first one was at : a club in SF

    second : Folsom street fair

    third : gym

My take on this : Compliment but depends on my moodicon_razz.gif

Club and/or Folsom? I'd be surprised if it DIDN'T happen.

    Gym? That's a little weird.

It's a compliment that they want to do it, but there are times when it's not wanted or appropriate, and sometimes people don't think about that or don't care. That's when it pisses me off.

Uhhh, at the gym? I would consider that assault. I guess that's why the first three letters in assault are A-S-S.

I think it's pretty rude. It's happened to me many times, usually out at clubs, and I've always been turned off. There's no way I'd have any interest in someone with such poor boundaries and deep lack of respect.

I'd take it that he was insane. Who grabs a stranger's crotch.

I have always understood that it was meant as a compliment but I have NEVER ONCE appreciated it.

If he just grabs my ass or crotch, I would say excuse me and then push his hands off.

Both are compliments, BUT, a crotch grab is inappropriate and an invasion of privacy and personal space.

If you were at Folsum Street Fair, then neither of these should be unexpected considering that specific venue.

The gym is not appropriate in either situation particularly considering the expectation of normal behavior in that situation where there are straight and gay men are in a mixed venue.

A club is where a lot of guys go to hookup. Being offended here is a little like being offended that some of the guys are getting drunk at a bar.

I had someone grab my crotch once, and I simply grabbed his wrist and said, "If I want your hand there, I'll put it there myself."

I would consider it assault and blow my rape whistle....

Oh what am I saying? I am desperate and would probably jump them right there...

Then I would beat their ass for being disrespectful...

Edit: The jumping thing was a joke for the record...

Well interestingly enough I'm trying to figure out how one of associates will act tomorrow after he was and drunk at a friend's birthday party on Friday and preceded to lean over and blow wind into my ass and then say "I just kissed my bosses ass". Facing him tomorrow since he'll be sober should be great. Oh and his yearly review is on Tuesday. There is a reason I don't go out much these days. lol

i'd probably take it as a compliment if he wasn't a creep. Still'd slap the shit out of him though. Who knows? maybe he likes it that way icon_wink.gif

Man, what's with guys thinking they can grap your junk?!? Everytime I go out to a club with friends I get some drunk ass thinking he can cop a feel. Really?

I always grap their wrists and squeeze as hard as I can until they cry about how I'm hurting them. Well, that's what you get for being an ass.

Nothing shows any more lack of respect than that.. I really hate that.. I usually have to refrain from losin' my cool. No compliment whatsoever.

Obviously it's a compliment, but its still inappropriate and unwelcome.
