I agree with the OP 100% about facing the grim possibility of the rollicking retard from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum wanting to be US president. This right wing lunatic would try to turn the US into a theocracy if he has his way.

Obviously Santorum is a complete embarrassment to any thinking person of either party. He lives in a self-created fantasy world and makes up outrageous lies to suit his own purposes. No one should take him seriously.
There are a few nut-jobs like this in every country... what's sad about the U.S. is how many ignorant people that are willing to vote for him.
I felt the same way about George W. Bush. I felt sad for our country that there were so many people stupid enough to vote for him -- not once but twice.
And our country is still recovering from the damage.

You'll notice here which RJ members DON'T have a problem with Rick Sanitoriums's statements about the Dutch. It's not on their talking points they were sent, so they can't make a peep about it. So funny to watch them constricted by their scripts.

I voted for George W Bush not only twice, but worked both of his campaigns and if not for the 22nd amendment would vote for him again!

You convinced me. Santorum has my vote

i've got news for you buddy, IF the 22nd amendment were to ever be repealed, WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON would run, AND WIN, a 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th term. he would trounce GWB by a landslide.

Got news for you too. If he were in a primary with Obama, he would also defeat him. No contest. Clinton went also on record opposing the Obama tax hikes. Pragmatist versus ideologue. http://policydynamics.org/blog/?p=679

no, i referenced the 22nd amendment. you said had it not been for the 22nd, and if GWB ran, you would vote for him. i merely stated that IF the 22nd were repealed, and there was a hypothetical race between GWB and WJC, i think that WJC would win by a landslide. then again, i may be wrong, but, clinton is still a very popular person. bush, i'm not so sure.
if i was misinterpreting your initial post, then i apologize.

After the above, I am convinced that Freedomisn'tfree (the old GEEZER who was kicked off the site) is little more than a troll here only for the sake of sensationalism. What other explaination can there be for a supposed older gay man to be this stupid as he reveals himself to be above and in his "Bomb IRAN" topic. Santorum is an embarassment to Americans just as this old GEEZER is to gay men here on RJ. Thank god there are very few that promote the bullshit he does.

    Dubya remains a liability.

As the media and Rick Santorum's opponents look at his support of Bush's expansive government policies, it only reduces his favorability among conservatives who like to pretend they're fiscal hawks.

    No problem.

And I agree that in a WJC vs GWB it probably would be Clinton, although they both occupied approximately the same ground or maybe GWB was a bit more liberal in some ways (part D). Clinton governed (after 94) as a centrist. I have little problem with Bill.
