Dennis Gomes, one of the owners of the resorts which established the well received Prohibition nightclub IN the Resorts last year, died at 68 of complications of dialysis. He was a long term casino executive working in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and worked for Trump casinos for awhile.

He reports a loss for last year BUT cutting the margin of loss. He and investors bought it for only around $35 million. I understand the Prohibition gay nightclub (Pro) is doing well!

Prohibition does really well considering the only other gay bar in AC (or honestly in south jersey) was "westside"...I always heard it was sketchy as hell and stayed away though. Westside that is, Prohibition isn't sketchy, but you will pay really high prices for drinks, I've been spoiled by drink prices in Philly.
