The fear that makes me hesitate a moment before I hit the send button.

I know a guy who belonged to a community group. He wrote an email to a friend detailing what he really thought of the group and some of its individual members (none of it nice). When he sent it, he accidently (how, I don't know) sent a copy to the general mailing list for the entire group. He survived and is even still a member, but it put the fear in me.

You have my sympathies, but you'll be fine.

If you are going to text the wrong man, just make sure he is hot. You gotta make it worth it if he punches you in the nose!

That happened to me once. I thought I was responding to the guy I was dating when my ex had sent me a text. I thought I canceled out my ex's txt on the phone, and sent the response to the guy I was dating.

    My ex's reply was:
    "What the hell?"

fortunately for me, after my heart started up again, I realized that it was so out of context to him, that he simply didn't 'get it'. I realized that it was only a naughty text if you knew the context of the msg.

Now, I always double check and have for a couple years.

Yeah, you cant take it back, just have to laugh it off. I think that happens to everyone. My boyfriend was drunk and thought he was leaving a message on my phone...instead he left it on one of his female friends phones....saying "Where are you, I want you to fuck me"!!!!! Yeah, that one still is funny around his friends.

my boyfriend accidentally sent his mom (who he isn't out to) a text that ended in "te amo" which is like "i love you" except more intense and said only to your bf/gf/wife/husband. he meant to send it to me but thankfully he saw his mom not long after and stole her phone to delete it. the message was still marked unread icon_razz.gif

another time a few years ago i tried to text a friend saying what a bitch our other friend was acting at a party... instead i sent it to the subject of my text, haha. that one was pretty hard to play off.

thank god i have a blackberry now... it shows your messages like a conversation so all i have to do is hit the R button to reply

well at least you didn't hit "reply" on a forwarded message and accidentally send an expletive-laden email to your boss...

Not saying that happened to me or anything. icon_redface.gif

This is something I've never understood about the Spanish language.

You can say "te amo" which means literally "I love you", but it's only in the context of someone you're partnered with, not parents/siblings/cousins, etc.

But you can also say "te quiero" to mean "I love you". Literally, "te quiero" means "I want you", which sounds very sexual, but you say this to parents/siblings/cousins, etc.

    ???

I was sending txts to the wrong guy (a coworker) for about three days, at all hours. I was going to mess with him so I wrote about missed deliveries, pickups, displeased clients and contract reviews and empty warehouses, and that he would be getting a call from control. icon_razz.gif

I got a voice message a day later: This isn't who you think it is. I'm not Paul! Stop texting me.

    Oops. hahaicon_lol.gif

yep. except "te quiero" in my mind isn't "i want you." it sounds sexual when you translate it literally but in my mind it actually means i love you.

Oh Oh Oh so you do have that bone in your body icon_razz.gif

I once wrote a very very descriptive message of what I wanted to do to a guy and sent it too my trainer..

That poor man, I'm always stuffing up and he gets messages from me that hes not suppose to get.

Solution, delete him from the phone and just memorise his number
