Yikes. For a minute I thought those whacky, loveable scientists were goofin around with that Higgs Boson Generator whatsamajiggy and created another black hole in some lake, or divided by zero again.

I thought this topic was thought-provoking! Glory holes freak me out too! I always wondered what prevents people accidentally getting sucked into one.

Check the links in the original post. Spillways are usually used at dams. So the water flows downward to the bottom of the damn. The TastelessPhoto link shows what it looks like when it's empty. Pretty fascinating.

I have to admit, I LOL'd when I saw the content that went along with the title of the post. The interior shots of the works are stunning. That's a glory-hole to be (publicly) proud of! icon_lol.gif

TheGuyNextDoor saidWe have a handful of these in Dallas near our creeks and man made lakes.
I drive by one twice a day coming and going from work M-F.

In my part of the world, we're lucky to have all of the natural water features we could ever want, or even cope with sometimes, hehehe. Nice to know, however, if you want something bad enough it can be built. icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, there are many dams near me....one right after another... and when they release the water....people don't realize how strong the current is down the river. A couple years ago, we had someone die from swimming in the river and the current pushed them under.

A crotch-height hole in a thin partition, usually in a men's room stall that someone has bored through, into which a man sticks his dick to get an anonymous blowjob from a guy on the other side whom he doesn't see.

Intentionally built glory holes outside of restroom stalls can also be found in gay bathhouses, adult bookstores, and playrooms in gay resorts, to simulate the men's room experience that some guys enjoy.
