Ok so they are collaborating again and alot of people are so against this but is it really sending a bad message to her fans or it is saying that you can forgive someone for doing you wrong?

He didnt fucking "do her wrong" he beat the shit out of her. I mean forgiving is one thing, but to put yourself into his proximity and invite him to your birthday? absurd.

I think Stacy Static did a great job talking about those two in this article.

I personally think people are overreacting. These are two adults and are old enough to make their own decisions. People are getting upset because if put in her shoes they would do something different.

This is nothing but publicity for both of them. These two are talent less manufactured "artists" which sells! and I expect them to make a boat load of dough.icon_eek.gif

i think they have talent but i think they are lonely from fame. Its hard in my opinion to even try to understand what they go through because they have no private life. They are fish in a bowl and we are just gazing at and commenting on them. I have had a abusive bf that hit me and i wooped his ass but i still cared for him enough to be there for him when he needed me but i really could never trust him.

i just think that fame is more of a curse then a luxury. we look at fame and say wow but of you talk to alot of celebs they are not that happy with it. My uncle was a celeb and he drunk himself into a tree and died now his 5 year old son will never reall know who his dad was.

Stupidity knows no bound. I actually like Rihanna, but I guess she doesn't like herself.

It's things like this that sometimes....again, SOMETIMES.... makes it hard for society to feel sorry for victims of domestic violence who CHOOSE to stay with their aggressor. The fact that this man is still not in jail because of what he did to her is still just beyond my comprehension and yet she apparently is okay with him now. Granted, she may not be "with" him now, but I cannot imagine why she would want any part of him in her life.

God damn what a stupid idea. I have never heard music from either of these two people and ALL I know about either of them is he beat the shit out of her and also that when he won his Grammy he tweeted something immature and moronic.

This makes me care about both of them less than I already do... which is not at all.

Great role models, both of them. icon_rolleyes.gif

As a celebrity in the public eye that young girls look up to and admire as a role model - she has a responsibility. If she wants to forgive the bastard in private that's fine (although she should have more self respect) but don't make a music video to sell to the world.

and this is America's problem we look to celebrities to raise our kids instead of wanting to be our kids role model. You can ask any child now who is your role model and it will be someone from T.V. or a fiction character. The problem with this is why are kids not wanting to be like their dad or mom or teacher, i mean why is it so taboo to want to be like someone in your family or in life.

When i was growing up my hero/role model was my grandmother not a celebrity or superman. This is America's fault not rihanna's it's the childs parents fault for not being more involved in their own childs life.

The thing with this is: it was their relationship. I was like, Chris fucked up, Rihanna left him, and so forth.

I was a fan and actually liked "Kiss Kiss", "No Air", and now like "Turn Up the music"

But it seems like after the whole incident, he has become more of an arrogant asshole. It is like he said, "fuck this being nice guy, the veil has come off, I might as well go with it". The whole Good Morning America fiasco, his immature tweets, his whole demeanor.

I think this whole Rhianna and Chris Brown situation is blown way outta proportion and ran off the "deep end". America in my honest opinion is SO freaking BIASED it's crazy. Ok. yes. He beat up on Rhianna and it was public, totally wrong in all forms on his part. The thing that is bothering me is, people hear about shit like this and most don't say a damn thing, other famous who has been in similar situation like Chris and Rhianna goes unrecognized. Charlie Sheen who is STILL relevant (well sort of), Terrance Howard, Mel Gibson, Jay-Z and many others. My thing is this, if you going to bash Chris Brown, Bash them ALL. Lets be all the way honest if Rhianna wasn't who she was would America really give two flying fucks?really? ask yourself that. I believe the reason why people think they could lash out at Chris is because he is YOUNG, DUMB and NAIVE. If Jay-z was really upset with Chris Brown over putting hands on a Rhianna, then why Jay do this.....

if you have to question why it's offensive for someone to be making money with someone who literally beat the shit out of him/her, and i said making money with because making money with is not the same as forgiving someone and taking the higher road, then you're an idiot.

If that video is for real then I just lost a HUGE amount of respect for the Jigga man. What an arrogant and nasty thing to do to a woman of ANY age, hope she called the cops on his ass !

funny how this is suppose to be a forgiving society and when he did come out and apologize people still want to condemn him and now they're doing the same to her. If she can move on from it and do a song with the boy nobody elses opinions matter. and im waiting for someone to say that i advocate what he did.

and Jay wouldn't do anything to the boy because that video you posted up (she wasn't trying to just take pictures of him but believe the title if you want) was when he was still in the streets he's a corporate business family man now...2 different thought processes. That video is from when Volume 3 came out the same time he stabbed Rivera. Today, he has people running up on him all the time in even WORSE conditions than that(2010 @ Juniors) and he handles it completely different.

lol. Apart from the sheer amount of spelling mistakes which almost made me want to tear my eyes out, yes; she does have a point that some people are mad at her because they believe that celebrities should be rolemodels.

And from that point of view I do agree with her. I don't think celebrities should be obligated to always do the right thing because they are famous. I know that younger children will be inspired to follow their example, but I still don't think that it's right for us to impose that kind of role on celebrities.

But to the point: no; she's wrong. Because that's not the reason I'm mad at Rihanna. I'm not mad at the fact that she's a celebrity and put what Chris Brown did to her in the past. I've seen this in real life, and the male just does the same things over and over again and I feel angry but also helpless myself when nothing anyone says can make them stop going back to that person.

So yes, because of personal reasons this issue becomes stronger than it perhaps otherwise would've.

That's also why it pisses me off when people keep saying that Rihanna "took the high road". If you had any experience in this, I doubt you'd be saying that.

The kind of behaviour that Chris Brown showed isn't something that's washed away by a simple public apology.

reguardless of the time frame he still did a act of aggression towards the chick and to me he should be a little more supportive towards rihanna then he is because he is really in the same boat as chris, his mishap just didnt go viral. violence against anyone is wrong, without cause, but if my memory serves right both parties in the chris and rihanna case had parts that they played which makes it neither right or wrong for either.

Rihanna even said she provoked it not saying Chris was right but like the old quote says play with fire and you will get burnt

this is what's so disgusting about your logic. unless she came at him with a kitchen knife and he beat the shit out of her face from self-defense, there's no excuse. he fucking beat up another human being because he was angry at her. and now you're trying to justify it? people like you are even worse than he is. you're pathetic.
