She certainly earned it with all those past nominations. Love her in Bridges of Madison County, one of my favorite films.

    +1. It was really boring.

I did like Ellen's JCPenney commercial.

You mean the show? I agree it was a bit dull. BUT, well worth waiting to see Meryl win!
Btw, what's up with Angelina? I can certainly appreciate the natural aesthetic beauty of a female body, but she begins to look like a skeleton wrapped in human skin lol. OK, perhaps it's genetics and she is naturally super skinny. But what's up with showing off her leg all the time? I found it disturbing to watch. Kinda strange when you go to a film awards ceremony as an actress at the height of your career and the way you choose to attract attention is by showing off your flesh rather than your talent. LOL

Yay, I'm so glad Jean Dujardin won. The artist was a phenomenal movie. It is nice to see someone outside the traditional nominated lot win for a change.

I've been hooked ever since I saw her in Sophie's choice.

What a well deserved win by Meryl Streep.

She really should win every time she's been nominated, but I suppose that wouldn't be fair.

And what a great acceptance speech.
