Bladder pain during anal sex

I am 25 years old, and I have a question regarding anal sex. I have been having sex with the same guy for the last 4 years and I am the bottom during sex, but lately the last 6 months or so I have been having what feels like a sharp pain in or around my bladder when he is deep inside of me. His penis is on the larger side, but I did not have this pain before. Why all of a sudden after 4 years of having sex am I getting this pain when he is deep inside of me? I should mention that the pain is only when he is deep inside of me and it does not exist otherwise.

Anyone? I am not too experienced in anal sex except with him so I don't know if the pain is normal. We have tried a few new positions in the past few months, is it possible that the new positions are just allowing him to get deeper in me and he is just hitting the bladder or something?

Pelvic pain is difficult to diagnose based on the perceived pain alone, as the pain can radiate from the actual source. You feel the pain here, but the actual cause is over there.

You might be experiencing a prostate infection, or many other things that do not involve your bladder. You need to start with a urologist, in my view, who may send you to a proctologist/colorectal surgeon.

I'm not sure you can receive definitive advice here, except to see a doctor. Try to get a referral to one who is gay-friendly, and familiar with men who have anal sex.

Sorry I did not see the original thread.

Pelvic pain is not that difficult at all.

You need to see your doctor to get a urine test and culture. I would not wait for "gay friendly".
They are professionals, best you f/u to rule out problems like prostatitis or colitis, anal fissure or erosion.

The sex part can only be coincidental.

I had an ex with an enormous member, and while it sometimes hurt in the beginning due to the size of the thing - I never had the type of pain you are describing. And we tried various positions as well. You need to see a doctor to see what could be causing it.

You need to see a urologist and be completely honest about your sex life. Don't be afraid to get a 2nd opinion.

The pelvic area is delicate and frankly anal sex poses some risk to the area.

You may have to modify sexual activities for awhile but your health is more important than an orgasm!!

I used to bottom long ago. I've always had with certain guys a pain on the front side. Maybe bladder also. But it seemed to happen with guys that had long or sharp dicks. Or guys that didn't know how to make love properly. I just assume it is the penis hitting the sides somewhere or the bladder maybe. So that is why I stopped bottoming. 8 out of 10 times I just felt more pain than it was worth. I noticed I didn't have the pain with guys that were more like 4-5 inches so that maybe proves that longer ones hit areas that may cause pain.
