What do you guys think? Personally I think it's better than Give Me All Your Luvin. But I'm not sure if I'm all that into it..

Miles better than GMAYL. Should've released this first, but I guess GMAYL was a Super Bowl tie-in.

Way better than that dreadful first single, but there's nothing new here. Recycled beats, tired/flat vocals. BORING.

obviously she is still trying to have chart success so she is sacrificing a bit of her artistic merit for today's sort of repetitive annoying dance sound. Its solid enough though and unlike some of the songs on the last cd, you can tell its a Madonna song. I like it but there will probably be better on the cd.

It sounds like "Celebration" with different words.

But it's a definite improvement over "Give Me All Your Luvin." I wouldn't leave this dance floor if this came on.

I sure hope so. I have no doubt, like most Madonna tunes, it has that infectious sound and beat that will grow on me. That said, I was really hoping for something far more ground-breaking and interesting from the 2nd single --- especially with William Orbit at the helm of this project. "Give Me All Your Lovin'" peaked at #10 on Billboard and, considering all the promotion via The Super Bowl, that is a less than stellar debut for a Madonna 1st single. She needs to deliver better than this, and I'm not sure this "Girl Gone Wild" is going to fit that bill. Let's hope as she gets deeper into the singles off of MDNA that she reaches deeper creatively as well.

I thought Ray of Light was an amazing album where she sounded like a true artist and had graduated from simplistic pop music into something more but her following albums proved that wasn't the case. Somehow, Madonna went from being a leader to a follower.

There's a different version floating around with a spoken intro which I think gives the song an added edge:

I'm probably one of the few who actually liked the previous single - I like this too, although it's a little vanilla.

It's the most boring dance song she's ever recorded. The music allllmost develops some dimension in the bridge for 3 or 4 seconds. Damn, she's lost it.

While I agree that Ray of Light was a great album, she wasn't a leader then either. She worked with the right people and managed to bring some underground electronic sounds into the mainstream. Very successfully. I guess you can call her a leader for sniffing out the right talent and bringing club music to the masses. But that was definitely her high point. She's now become a parody of herself.

    LOL (or Paris Hilton)
From reading a few messages on here I guess I'm in the minority for liking her "GMYAL" song

Love it ! Benassi and Madonna did a great job on this. Chorus is pure fire and I can't wait to dance to this in a club ASAP.

The video is also gonna be amazing, Mert and Marcus shot it last week with the queen, bondage, lots of hot naked guys and Madonna looking fine as a fuck should mean it's a classic.

Also, how fucking hot does she look on the cover !!

Yawn. In other words, the same tired stuff she's been doing for 20 years now. She has no range, no vision. One trick pony.

Yeah, because Madonna is known for having the 'same' look all the time...........

Pretty much - an aging, sex-obsessed slut. And even if she looks different, her boring, generic music always sounds the same.

It will do really well in Europe, especially when the remixes are released. The U.S market i'm not so sure of because of the ageism etc but we'll see.

    Either way, I love it.

I'll wait to hear the stuff she did with Orbit on MDNA to hear the more mature side of things.

Masterpiece was also a great song, she really showed her vocal chops on that one.

So far the latest material I've heard from Madonna has not been too special. Nothing terrible, but nothing that stands out either. These tracks blend in with everything else out there in pop music currently.

I dare say Gaga is more interesting these days. That's a lot coming from me since I don't consider myself a loyal Little Monster by any means.

I love Lady Gaga a lot and I think Born This Way (the album) is a true classic, one of my fave pop records ever.

But Madonna's already had at least 4 albums of that quality in her career. She's just interested in making fun/happy dance music right now, it's not meant to change the world !
