Without asking, there really isn't any way to tell. Especially now it has become socially acceptable for guys (both gay and straight) to act more "feminine". The boundaries between male and female roles in society have become blurred, so with this comes more guys paying more attention to appearance, hygiene, and otherwise traditionally "feminine" activities. You should approach the gentleman in a comfortable situation and ask him.

I used to play a game with a friend of mine seeing who could spot gay guys at the gym. We came up with three things that led to what we joked was an 85 percent likelihood that a guy was gay....

    1. shirt tucked in
    2. workout gloves
    3. predominately yellow or orange shirt or shorts

    Interesting:

Yellow and orange are said to be sexually ambiguous or bisexual color favorites.

Its more on the length of eye contact, I find.

Also straight guys tend not to have popped collars on polo shirts.

the bottom line is you can't ... your brain is complex and you can rationalize all day long, you make rules and justifications to try and make the possibilities a reality ... if you want to be eye candy then you will be just that , eye candy.

i do not think you can determine that unless you become friends with them. that is the only way you can figure it out. usually if someone is bi they will refer to someone they like or are seeing they or like individuals who are this and that. that is what i usually do

Eye contact, booty slappin, sly jokes and thinking too damn much about anything can make it a reality for you, even it isn't.

The only sure fire way is of he is a flamer and then the signs would be pretty obvious. Otherwise trying to determine a guys sexuality would be like trying to determine his dick size by the length if his fingers or size of his nose.

People in this topic are saying you can't tell....but I can definitely tell for some, and I'm talking about specifically 'normal' acting 'straight' folk. It's a vibe you pick up. It's hard to describe. You just know.

This isn't how I "tell", but you might want to think "what would I say, if I wanted to come off as straight, but wanted to hint otherwise". Again, not suggesting this as a sure-fire way, but it might, at the least, give you some insight.

I guess that's kind of true? Yellow's one of my favorite colors (blue being the other one), but I don't have anything yellow in my dresser... icon_neutral.gif
