i tried it just for the hell of it, assuming that it would probably taste like drek, just like almost every attempt (outside of Samuel Adams) by an American beer company to make something "premium." Well guess what? It does.

The first sensation you'll get off it is the smell, which is what it smells like after a Mardi Gras parade...nasty. The taste is almost as nasty, going across the palette like a stale beer of much cheaper origins. All-in-all, don't waste your money.

Normally if i drink beer I actually will drink a french beer called Kronenbourg 1664. Its a nice pale lager with a fantastically smooth taste. Light and not harsh at all its something that you can actually have with half-decent food, especially since a 6-pack is around $10. Most importantly though, is that you must always POUR a nice beer properly into a glass. Its the same as decanting a fine wine and will open up the beer's full flavor range.

When I lived in the dorms at college we had parties every Thursday night, with kegs of Budweiser. In those days it was brewed in Beech wood kegs and tasted great. The change over to steel kegs made it taste relatively tasteless and haloushous.

Its got an alright taste I guess idk had a few and just got used to the taste. Supposedly my friends say hypnotiq is the best-tasting alcohol in the world, but to me it tastes like cherry cough medicine.:/ I don't really drink for the taste, though, but rather the feeling. Still, it would be nice if there was actually decent-tasting alcohol around.
