Yes, because of Bush and recent foreign policy attitudes ( and past) a lot of people around the world do not like the attitude of Americans. I mean.....WE elected Bush the second time around.
But despite the Bush stuff.....a lot of people around the world admire the American spunk and drive....( they also lament the American Consumerism....energy waste etc......).........but basically I would like to say....on this 4th of July.....that Americans have it a lot better than most of the world.
my passion is travelling the world and experiencing different cultures. There are places where no matter how much educaction or drive you have, there are NO opportunities to better your life. We are fortunate.
Despite the flaws.........thank you America. I'm glad I was born here. America is a work in progress...........

All sorts of people.....people you would not associate with the "Heartland of America".....were there. All Americans.......families, couples,gays.straight....it didn't matter.
