Repubs will believe anything they read and then spout it off like its biblical.

"Democrats want to increase dependence on foreign oil" - ummm, has he always been an idiot or did he have a lobotomy at some point? Maybe electro shock or too many drugs. The Dems have for years been looking for alternative clean sources of fuel, that fact is just a basic.

Always been an idiot? I'd put my credentials against your sorry ass any day. I was referring to specific actions today, led by Schumer, and if you had the intelligence or honesty to see that, you would have understood.

One senators request does not the opinion of an entire party make. Besides, Sen. Schumer's request to Hilary Clinton to urge Saudi oil officials to expand production has nothing to do with increasing our dependence on them. It is to bring oil prices down in the US while we continue to look for alternative clean fuel. In the past it has always been the Republicans, headed by Bush, who were in favor of continueing or even increasing our dependence on foreign oil. Why don't you get your head out of your ass instead of trying to spin every minor story into an attack on the Democratic party.

Why don't you show some maturity and criticize the issues instead of making a personal attack? Aside from the Shumer actions, my specific point, the Democratic policies have been a mixed bag in this regard. The Democratic actions for green energy are offset by their stonewalling of other drilling. Although Keystone involves Canadian oil, that decision tends to lead us to unfriendly countries.

This is discussed elsewhere extensively, so not interested in having further discussions with someone such as yourself. If you are upset at my caption to the link, too fucking bad.

You know what, you're right. I shouldn't make personal attacks and for that I apologize. On the other hand, I'm tired of seeing crazy remarks by you and mocktwinkie - which often seem more troll like than anything else - so I suppose I'll just block you both instead of seeing posts that lead me to a place that I don't like to go. Ciao.

Just fyi, the "Always been an idiot?" was quoting the other person referring to me. Didn't use the quote marks because his words were third person. If you go back and read them, the context was clear.

No problem at all. Was a reasonable misunderstanding, and I applaud you for correcting the record.
