Just wanted to know who else in here are fans of this OZ sitcom, Kath & Kim. Let's hope NBC don't screw up this hilarious series.

One of my fav episodes was the naming of Kim's baby ..... E-P-P-O-N-double E .....

I've watched a few episodes, not really a fan. The two original women are exec-producers on the US version. I personally only like Molly Shannon in small doses, but Selma Blair can be quite funny.

NBC has another great show on it's roster! OMG, I'm so not watching cause obviously they're either going to cut the budget in some way or cancel the show altogether (sooner or later). I got into "Surface" and "Heroes" last time I put faith in NBC, and was sadly disappointed when my shows magically disappeared and lost what made them interesting. Its like the theory behind the movie "The Producers", they seemingly want to make giant flops for even larger profits and returns, instead of actually showing good shows steadily for an extended period of time.

Thank you for the heads up on a would be good show; though I know nothing about it. It's greatly appreciated. As for the station it's on, well that's nothing but crap.

This would want to be good... I actually hated the Kath and Kim characters when they first appeared on a sketch show over here (big girls blouse)... but they developed the characters and the whole series turned out well.

Love Molly Shannon... though Selma Blair is no where big enough to be Kim

Have anyone seen the teaser yet? Reaction to NBC's version of K&K? The entire cast look too "beautiful" -- I think it will loose some of the satirical edge of the original show. I am embracing for a poor series, unfortunately .... and I will be disappointed ... Comments?

molly shannon is good casting, not sure about the others...

in my head i hear the austrailian accents so its so weird to see an american version like the part when selma blair goes O-V-U-R!!

I am VERY worried about NBC screwing it up - and they will. Somethings just cannot be translated/recreated, especially comedy. That said, I personally only like Selma Blair, and only her.

And the news that there is to be no "Sharon" character at all... how can Kim exist without her 2nd best friend to push around?

Don't screw it up...

Did you see we're going to get the American version here in Australia too, so we're not going to miss out. Unless it's crap. Then it won't matter.

I'm sure once they have Americanised it, so Americans will understand it. It want be the same. They will be able too film it in a trailer park. Shame Anna's dead, as they could of had Anna, and Britney.

I seen it once, and that was enough..
