What would be the BF % of a typical "twink"?

Sorry that I have to open a new topic for a silly question, but I'm looking for the AVERAGE body fat percentage that a typical "twink" would have. Google didn't offer a quick answer (except "0%", which obviously is not true).

If you need an example of what I mean with "twink", archetype Jesse McCartney will do.

    Thanks

IMHO - anywhere from 8% - 15% with relatively low muscle tone, ie low body fat but no popping abs/8-pack.

Ultra-low body fat percentages will be more in line with a bodybuilder in competition prep, or hardcore marathoners; these will typically also have above average muscle tone.

Twinks are 99% baby fat and 1% lab-grown muscle.

Would I be considered a twink? Just curious. I don't understand all these labels in the gay community.

By loose definition you're a twink (under 25, slim with up to average muscle tone). You have potential to easily become a muscle-twink or a gym bunny in a few years with some focused time in the weight room. icon_smile.gif

By strict definition, you would be an outlier (under 25, blonde, tanned, attracting to significantly older men, and potentially air headed and superficial).

I tend to gravitate toward the looser definition of twinks and especially muscle twinks (think Brent Everett).

What differentiates being a muscle twink. . .and just, not a twink at all?

    What would I be?

Muscle twink I think would be above average muscle mass %, maybe a bit lower body fat % than a regular twink. Not quite gym bunny or gym rat, and not very bulky in appearance, but not slim or skinny either.

7Famark, you'd be more of my definition of muscle twink - but you're still under the general umbrella of twink due to your youth, body hair, and your frame/body type. However, it's definitely not a bad thing icon_smile.gif

Not really, the muscle in muscle twink refers to the tone and definition and not the size of the muscle. Think of small framed blonde bois who do a thousand sets with those 15lb free weights in their rooms and have tiny though shredded muscles.

I thought twinks was the word used to describe gays who have/maintain "boyish" appearances (i.e. no body hair, no stubble, and low muscle mass).
