Hi Everyone,

I as young kid growing up in Canada, I have to admit that one of my basic fears was being beaten up by Hockey Jocks. In my mind Homophobia and Hockey are indelibly linked. I've only recently begun to appreciate the sport.

So, finally, there's a campaign to address homophobia in Hockey.

Here's the link to the CBC story: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/story/2012/03/04/sp-nhl-brian-burke-youcanplay-campaign.html

Here's a link to the organization: http://youcanplayproject.org/

I've met a couple of guys on this site who play hockey, and a couple of guys who are out in other aspects of their lives but not to their hockey teams. I hope this campaign makes a difference.
