Expecting the iPad3 to have LTE, which is important to me. I have with an earlier iPad and iPhones sold on Gazelle, never any problem.

A bit frustrated that the offer for a flawless iPad2 64GB + 3G AT&T went from $370 yesterday to $344 today. I had a question that I wanted to hear from them before submitting. Thought I would share that.

My strategy is normally to get the offer a few days before a new launch. Earlier means a higher offer, generally, but you have a 30 day window, and I like to have the new unit before sending the old one in.

The conditions are Flawless, Good, and Broken. I think it is flawless, but there is always the chance they could find something wrong. Generally they have agreed with my Flawless assessments in the past, but one time they found something, which I think was legitimate.

My question to them was this: If I say Flawless, but in two weeks when they inspect the unit and they say only Good, will they revise their offer to the Good offer as of today, or the Good offer in two weeks, which might be significantly lower? They said any revised offer will be based on offers for the conditions as of today, so I don't have to worry about a future offer price.

    Just thought I'd share.

iPad 2 64Gb 3G for $344...Im pretty sure you can get more money than man.

On eBay you cannot get that model(Condition: used) anywhere under $550.

Thanks. Will be interesting to see what the prices are after the iPad3 comes out. Expect there will be a flood of iPad2s. A bigger issue is there is a real problem sellling iPads on eBay or craigslist. Last year, I decided to not preorder and ended up buying the iPad2 at an Apple store. Bought a second one to resell. Did some research on all the BS that goes on, and decided the only way I would sell is local, face to face, cash only. There is a huge problem with charge backs, that are difficult to defend against, or at the very minimum are a pain to deal with. People offered me big $ if I would ship, but I knew they would dispute the charge, claiming either they never received it (which I could fight with tracking information) or it was not as advertised (harder to fight).

I would rather have a clean deal at a lesser amount than put up with all that.

You should look to sell it in another market. If Charlitos is right I would get all I can to buy an iPad 3 w/little to no cost. ~Best of luck

TheGuyNextDoor saidI did Gazelle with my iPhone 4. They gave me about $75. less than the new 4S cost. I thought it was a great deal since friends all want your hand me downs for under a $100. at best! I think that's why I'd rather give it to a family member for FREE or sell it on Gazelle for Top Dollar.

As the guys pointed out, Gazelle isn't top dollar, but it is a clean sale. I learned from my experience with that extra iPad2 that I got last year, you really have to be careful with eBay and especially Craigslist with PayPal. Those organizations are ok, but people can dispute credit card charges, leading to charge backs, and it is a big problem.

With my current iPad2, after getting a quote from Gazelle, a friend wants to buy mine so as soon as I get the new one and make sure all ok, he'll get it.
