It is currently 1225am EST. I am motivated to go to them gym. I often find the urge to work out late into the evening. Do many of you work out late? do you think there is much benefit to working out at a more reasonable hour, like early in the am? Does it make a difference. I am undecided, as to the answers to above and whether to go to the gym. Just a thought.

I don't think it makes a big difference.
I used to go at 1am consistently. Great time to go since the weights and machines would be free. Can go through my workout quickly. Always had proper sleep and nutrition. Now that I have a different work schedule, I changed my workout time.
If you're motivated to go and don't have anything to do next day, then I would go.

I used to love going to the gym at late hours when I was in college. Virtually no one there and you can grunt as loud as you want.

Just depends on your lifestyle and job. Late at night is not suggested normally by doctors if you have trouble sleeping at night. But for your sanity, it is easier to work out with less people around. Early morning to noon seems to have the hottest guys though if you like to drool while working out. The later it gets in the day here in the L.A. area, the more ghetto or barrio the place gets since they start getting off from school or work.

I've often worked out later than most guys. It is sweet having the whole gym mostly to yourself, with nothing but other serious lifters around.
