So a friend of mine turned me on to Revenge last month and I've had a massive episode binge over the past few weeks.

This show is amazing. It's really well written, great plot twists and I'm in love with Madeleine Stowe as the bitchy matriarch Victoria Grayson.

Plus there is some truly nice eye candy on the show.

    Anyone else a fan ?

Holy shit, yes. The show was incredibly slow and stale at first, but after Lydia has her accident and Frank gets a knock on the head the show picked up its pace. But it's left me hating network television and its sporadic schedules... icon_mad.gif

LOL Lydia's accident was so high camp, I loved it !

    @0.51 SPOILER

I agree, it did start off slow and tbh I wasn't a big fan of 'Emily Thorne'. She seemed a bit bland to me but I've grown to love her as her character has developed.

So, the next most important question... Jack or Daniel? I like me some Jack, personally.

oh look, their names make a whiskey brand, isn't that hilarious?

Curve ball here........I actually really fancy Nolan icon_eek.gif I saw an episode where he was in his shorts by the pool and I was like DAMN he's sexy.

And yeah, i'm sure the writers had a nice bottle of JD when they were developing the show icon_biggrin.gif

+1 Yep, been watching "REVENGE" from week #1 and it's my favorite show of the week. Like others have said, the network schedule has been a downer, but I still love it. It is one of those shows that you really need to see from the beginning to get all the nuances. For those who haven't enjoyed the guilty pleasures of "REVENGE" (Think "DYNASTY" in The Hamptons), rent the 1st season when it comes out this summer on DVD...you'll be hooked.

P.S. I also think Madeline Stowe, who plays the matriarch of the show, will be giving Jessica Lange ("AMERICAN HORROR STORY") a run for her money for The Emmy this year.

Me! So glad it looks like it's getting a second season. I'm really interested to see how they drag this show on longer than 2 seasons.

Yea, that's one thing... it's tough to imagine where the story line will go. It's possible that it will run its course after two seasons and, if they try to go longer, it will lose its luster.

It's a voluntary conscious act of ignorance, but I avoid shows with terms like "Revenge" in the title. Shows like those give me 'headaches' and annoying me for being so dramatic and predictable. IMHO.

Yea... not many actress can say so much without uttering a word. Those cold stares are all you need to get the point.

I had no fucking clue she was in her 50's when i first watched the show, she looks AMAZING for her age . Great actress too but I don't think she's up there with Jessica Lange.

Ahhhh, but "Revenge" may be many things, but "predictable" isn't one of them.

One thing I will say I didn't like was how ABC (?) censored the gay kiss scene between Daniel and Tyler.

Are U.S networks still so fearful of homosexuality ?? Don't they know who's watching this fucking show ? LOL icon_smile.gif

I love it, and I usually hate nighttime soaps. It's very dark and cynical -- all about the corruption of wealth and privilege. The wealthy characters -- who are venal, grasping, and whoreish -- hold some big gala where they pride themselves on being "Conservative," and everybody utters this ironic laugh as if to imply the word means shit. Their lives are just this glossy magazine spread put-on. The heroine is lethal in her disgust for humanity.

It's also a hoot to watch because all of the guys -- with the exception of Gabriel Mann -- are shorties. The continuity person must be driven to fits of exasperation because their heights alter dramatically depending on whether the female characters are in heels or flats!

Jack, hands down!! They could give each other a run for their money on the looks department, but the brains favor J for a long shot.

And speaking of actresses, my favorite is actually Christa B. Allen (Charlotte). Talk about been able to tell a lot without a single word.

I just got all caught up on the show. It is nothing but twists and turns.
