Rooms for a marathoner in May (Downtown Toronto)?

I apologize beforehand if this is the wrong place to post this, but here I go. So I'm doing a 'tour' marathon by myself this year. Ideally, I want to run Toronto, Halifax, Fredericton and Ottawa. Or I could stay in Toronto for the month of May, arrive, run the marathon, and on the last weekend (the 25-27) head out to Ottawa and return home from there.

Last year I had the ideal arrangement...I stayed at St. Michaels College dorms (Bay & St Mary St) after classes were through and basically had the room and floor to myself the whole time. Since the marathon has been bumped up a week early this year, I'm not sure I'll have the same luck. I'm lucky enough I have a part time job where I can take this time off, now I just needed a place to stay downtown so I don't have to rely on a car. All I need is a floor and a washroom. If you know of anyone please get in contact with me; thank you!

If you are into considering other dorm-type arrangements, then look also at: http://www.ryerson.ca/conference/accommodations/illc/index.html.

Also downtown, close to everything, though not sure if availability will be any better than St. Mike's.

    Good luck!

You shouldn't have a problem, even if the dates got moved up by a week. Winter semesters at Ontario universities end in April... then the full-time students go home, and the dorm facilities turn into hotels.

Also, this site doesn't have anything in Toronto (oddly), but does have rooms in a few other cities... in case you'd consider renting a room in a home...
