Just when you think the radical Repubs in AZ have gone as far with their nutty extremism as possible - they think up some even more nutty - even more extreme - scheme to inflict on the people of AZ.

The AZ Repubs are an unbelievable embarrassment to the residents of Arizona.

Before John Edwards, these wrongful suits were rare. You can thank him for the state of Obstetrics.

    Interesting spin from abortion advocates.

For a period of 10 years, just about any disability yielded a possible malpractice case whether parents were informed or not of the result.

Thankfully most of the junk science is now reversed in case law. But the damage is done to the specialty.

This article is more on point

“If a doctor intentionally or knowingly withholds information then a lawsuit could be appropriate,” she said.

The law does not endorse lying. It just bars as a possible cause of action an abortion option be discussed.
And yes part of the lawsuits describe the damages sustained by the "Doctors not offering an abortion"

How weird a world to we live in does a OB doc asking a mother if she wants an abortion at every visit for fear of a possible unintended outcome at birth?

The law neutralizes the practice through litigious trial lawyers like John Edwards who through judicial fiat make your medical bills higher.

A doctor that does that is not a very good doctor, regardless of any permitting laws. Ugh.

The law instructs on malpractice. It dosesnt endorse "not disclosing information."

the Op's article lacks any real citation or discussion of the law. Its not really an article, more like his opinion on it.

In fact he is filed under "blog archive"
