Checking to see if any mountain biking RJ'ers are interested in heading to the Kingdom Trails (East Burke, Vermont) for a weekend of sweet single track riding. For those who have not ridden there before, the Kingdom Trails are arguably the top mountain biking destination in eastern North America. The Kingdom Trails Association (a member of the Vermont Mountain Biking Association) has built over 100 miles of trails, ranging from "easy" wide double track to smooth and sweet single track and gnarly hard core downhill trials, off the Burke Mountain Ski Area.
There are motels in the area and camping is available next to the trails. If you love mountain biking, this is a great place to ride. The village of East Burke is totally taken over by mountain bikers in the summer. Sort of an eastern version of Moab.
I was thinking of setting something up for later this summer, if anyone is interested in going. I can help with directions and info.

With all the great riding opportunities there are in California, I would think that you would have some amazing options for singletrack riding. I've been to California many times, but never mountain biked there. Maybe someday.......

If anyone is interested in doing a weekend of mountain biking at the Kingdom Trails, I was thinking of either the weekend of August 30th-31st or September 6th-7th. I'll probably over in any case, but thought I'd open it up to other mountain bikers if anyone was interested.
