Can you out-pick The Guy Above You?

    http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/group/46899

Direct invite link in case the one above doesn't work for you:

    http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/register/joinprivategroup_assign_team?GID=46899&P=reaper

Join in! You can have as many as five different brackets if you are so inclined. Plus, Yahoo!'s larger contest gives away 5 million smacks to the top-scorer among participating entrants. You can take me to out to lunch or something when you win it. LOL

It's Invite-only for RJ members -- no Trolls allowed! Speaking of which, the Password to get in is "reaper" icon_razz.gif

I customized Yahoo!'s default scoring to stretch the competition out beyond the first weekend, but I can tinker with that if you prefer a different weighting:

First Round (field of "64") 2 pts for each correct pick (Yahoo default: 1 pt)
Second Round (field of 32) 3 pts each (Yahoo default: 2 pts)
Sweet Sixteen 5 pts each (Yahoo default: 4 pts)
Elite Eight 7 pts each (Yahoo default: 8 pts)
Final Four 9 pts each (Yahoo default: 16 pts)
Championship Game 13 pts for the winning pick (Yahoo default: 32 pts)

Also, in every round you get 3 extra points every time you correctly pick the lower-seed (the "upset bonus").

For those choosing to go after the $5 million, Yahoo will provide your overall score based on its default scoring (instead of this league's).

I can send you updates to remind you when to fill out your brackets. You get I think up until next Thursday the 15th at noon to screw around with your team selections.

    Good Luck!

Central Florida, St Joes, Oregon, Miami all out after the past two days

NC State now in...how could you have Cincy on the out list, they just beat Cuse, they are stone cold lock.

looks like the last few spots in or out going to come down to Miss St, Seton Hall, Drexel, Iona, Washington, Ole Miss and interesting to see if Marshall can upset Memphis and steal a bid and if UMass or St Bonaventure steal a bid by winning the A-10 tourney

Pac 12 should only get one since they are basically a midmajor this year with no quality wins but figure to get a bone thrown to probably Washington or Cal

Im definitely in for the contest. March Madness is the best time of year. I overdose on this stuff
