So this week... I started weight training. Got a good start from the training exercises realjock has to offer.

There is a mixed feeling I get as a beginner though. I'm working with the lighter set of weights than most, almost all the men at my gym. I get encouraged and yet sometimes a little intimidated by everyone else.

I know what I have to do. I just need to keep going and know that I can get there too if I don't give up. I just wanted to share my feelings of being intimidated as someone just starting to lift weights. I'm at a good start though! I can do the single 20 lbs weights!

I'll begin to take some protein shakes to help me gain muscle. I've done soy protein before but it feels like I need something else. -Wish me luck! =)
