With the negativity that is in the world and in some forums, I think the world is amazing place.

There is so much beauty in the world, be it hot men, hot women, natural beauty, amazing architecture, wonderful food, amazing friends and friendships and core shaking love.

Am in a very good mood as I have a great boyfriend and am going to see some uni friends, thinking about the great times we have and more to come.

Let's see if everyone can list at least one thing they find amazing/are happy for!

You're awesome tommyboi! Thanks for posting! I agree with all previous posts to mine.

In sincere attempt to answer your thread and not just acknowledge the wonder that it is, I'd have to say that I'm positively amazed by the kindest of the elderly, who have seen the worst life has to offer; either for themselves or in the lives of those around them. They maintain optimism and hope for all things by whatever faith they walk and they love those around them just the same.

I'm happy for the fact that I've got a job where I'm my own competition and am able to learn for myself how to apply my own strengths and work on my weaknesses at the same time. Ideally, I wouldn't be at this job, but I make the best of it just the same icon_smile.gif .

I guess I am happy to still have a good head on my shoulders and be nice and open hearted.

Alot of people I know who come from where I come from, have this whole fuck you attitude, and looking out for number one demeanor. They dont care about anyone but themselves and wouldnt give a damn if the next person lived or die

People get so lost in struggles and get angry from life that they lose their joy and become mean , hateful and evil.

I am just happy that I still feel like no matter what happens to me I am blessed and things could be alot worse.

I guess over the years I have become my own rock. My own shoulder to cry on. I feel like I can handle anything...and I am grateful for that attitude.

Maybe one day I can help others who don't feel the same.

I have an acre yard that is in a Vally, that had been raped and pillaged. So when it come into out possession; care taking. With not one tree plant or shrub. I have spent the past 10+years, creating a beautiful private oasis; giving back to Father Nature. I get to share this place with my husband and four dogs.

Thread title reminded me of a movie with a similar title "Life is Beautiful". Won 3 Academy Awards, and I can't believe it's been 15 years since the movie came out. Not the Arts and Entertainment section, but I'll provide links anyway.

I met someone from here on a coffee date today, and we sat outside and talked on a beautiful March day here in DC. He's a very handsome guy but there wasn't really a spark. We did, however, decide to be friends. And since he's a really nice and smart guy, I consider that to be a very good outcome! icon_biggrin.gif

    WooHoo amazing things!

I've been in a slump lately but one amazing thing is music (or at least the music I listen to IMHO).

I'm with you bro. The most beautiful thing right now is The Weeknd. Search him on YouTube. He's a musician from the gay capital of the world. Toronto.

Like a lot of people, I've had my share of awful things happen to me. What came out of that is a deep appreciation every day for all the good in my life. I have a gratitude list running in my head pretty much every day. If I start to think about the sad things, I try to replace those thoughts with all the good I have had happen, especially the good people in my life.

To me, the most amazing thing is to hear someone who has been through the most horrifying situation imaginable and comes out of it with humility, strength and the desire to help others.

I can't help but wonder what insight they have been given into the meaning of life and hope that one day I can come close to this understanding.

In my own small world I give thanks for loving family, friends that care and unexpected magic and beauty.

I think you're fantastic icon_smile.gif I have so much respect for people who lift themselves up in bad situations. It's not easy and takes a lot of courage and self-will. Congrats icon_smile.gif

OMG, I love that movie! Very difficult for me to watch though. First time I saw it I was alone with my boyfriend and it hit me so hard. My mothers family is Jewish, not that you have to be Jewish to appreciate it or anything, but I just thought of my family in Europe at the time and my family safe here in the states and it just really got to me. My boyfriend actually felt bad for putting it on, lol, he's like "we don't have to ever watch that again!!" huahuah. But no, it's poignant and needs to be seen.
