My professor keeps saying this and I'm wondering if its a common thing.
Not really scared in the sense that they're going to hurt you, but just that you don't know what they are going to do.
I think I noticed some of this in myself last night. I went with my friend who was one of the best dressed and looking girls in the place, so she was getting a lot of bro (NJ Guido - Jersey Shore) attention and I felt compelled to keep tabs on her and make sure she was okay. Whereas if she was a lesbian, I would not feel the same way around other lesbians.
Is it just misplaced trust?
